The Portuguese Golden Visa program, also known as a residence permit for investment activity (ARI), is an investment program designed for non-EU citizens.

As a result of a 5-year golden visa residence permit, an evaluation is made for Portuguese citizenship. A2 language exam result is required in Portugal. In addition, during the golden visa, it is mandatory to stay in Portugal for 7 days in the first year, 14 days in the next two years and 14 days in the following 2 years.
